Curraghmore Farm Correspondence Card & A5 Envelope

Above: Correspondence Card and A5 envelope for Curraghmore Farm. Hahnemuhle Bugra duplex 300gsm (card). Two color Letterpress and Blind Embossing.

I was planning my wedding in Illinois from Ireland and I have to say Peter F. could not have been more on the ball for us...
He really worked with us to create something that was beautiful to the touch as well as the eye and was a real reflection of our event.

Our invitations were written in Irish Gaelic, English and French which could have been quite cumbersome to any other designer but for Peter and the Press it was 'No problem'!
Every step of the process was effortless from our end and Peter was very attentive.
I cannot recommend Exquisite Letterpress enough, they really made our day special and were a great planning partner for us.

Invitation with washi overlay

Peter was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a hard time finding the exact invitation I wanted for our wedding, so I decided to design one myself. Peter's eye for detail and type is unmatched, and he was able to gently offer suggestions to make my invite look exquisite.
He was extremely responsive and professional, returning emails within hours (I live in San Francisco and did everything via the web). I will definitely be using Exquisite Letterpress again for family announcements!
I honestly couldn't be happier with everything--the colors, the type, the invitation is just beautiful....

Exquisite Letterpress Wedding Invitation Design Samples

Exquisite Letterpress is dedicated to first impressions. Wedding or special event invitations, calling cards, personal and executive stationery, all unique, and printed with an obsession for delicious papers and perfectionist typography.

When nothing but the best will do we produce printing which draws from the best of the centuries old tradition, combining the broad range and precision of digital typography with the magic of authentic materials like hand-made papers, 19th-century wood type and vintage metal foundry type. All brought together on "obsolete" platen and cylinder presses which give meaning to the term "First Impression"!

"Slow Print"™ is our answer to the quick-print world. Marrying high-tech with "high touch", Slow Print produces a sensual symphony, and a depth of tactile and emotional intimacy impossible with any other technique.

Rives BFK is a French printmaking sheet which is perfect for letterpress. The cards here were printed on dampened stock which softens the fibers and allows for a perfect impression

The elegant calling cards were designed by the client, and again, printed on dampened Rives BFK.  On receiving the finished cards, he wrote:

Peter, I'm speechless. They look better than i could have imagined. Thanks!
Ten points to you on presentation, too.
The crate-paper hand-wrapping suits the style of your letterpress nicely.
